LANE CLOSURES ON SH 21 OVERPASS OVER SH 6; Both east and westbound outside lanes will be closed in both directions for one month
BRAZOS COUNTY– Beginning Monday and Tuesday, March 13th and 14th, the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) contractor will begin setting concrete barriers on the SH 21 overpass over SH 6 to close both the eastbound and westbound outside lanes. These lane closures and concrete barriers are being set up to protect workers replacing the bridge rail on SH 21.
This closure is expected to last approximately one month. There will also be daily lane closures below the SH 21 underpass on SH 6 during this construction.
This work is contracted to Knife River for $800,000.00 to upgrade bridge rails in the Bryan District. TxDOT and their contractor appreciate everyone’s patience during this construction.
