Peace family, when was the last time that you got a glimpse of God?
Earlier this week, I had a pretty fitful and stressful night of sleep. I had a very long, continuing nightmare throughout the night that was full of negativity, and when I woke up to start the day, I felt exhausted. I felt very little hope for the day, and woke up praying about the situation that gave me the nightmare, worrying because the day was starting off on the wrong foot anyway. However, something very sweet happened. I saw on my phone that during the night, I had gotten an email from a missionary friend who lives in a different time zone, near Russia. She told me that she and the others in her group had thanked God and prayed for me, for my family, and for my work. She blessed me, and greeted my day with cheer.
It reminded me of the smallness of my problems compared to the bigness of our God, and it touched me to know that God’s spirit is moving, even when we don’t see it. My sister in Christ all the way across the globe, was praying for me without having any idea of anything going on in my life.
Peace family, you never know who might be praying for you right now. You never know how God might be moving, even in your most painful or stressful situations. I want to encourage you that God is there for you, and so are your brothers and sisters in Christ. Take hold of hope, and be on the look out for little glimpses of God today! If you are really looking, you will find them!
I am thankful for you, Peace family. If no one else says it today, I will say it, “God bless you!” May you truly see him in your life, today!
