LaShunda Mitchell with Grind 4 God Ministries says that this week, she and her husband, Terrence, are collecting backpacks and school supplies for their back to school drive. She says they need solid color backpacks, paper, binders, map colors, folders, and other general supplies. This year they are planning to bless 31 kids, but the deadline to donate is Friday, July 29.
Donations can be dropped off between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Grind 4 God office, located at 307 South Main Street, suite #108, inside the Anderson-Schaefer Building in downtown Bryan.
LaShunda says the giveaway will be August 13, and donors will have the opportunity to meet the children receiving the supplies, as well as pray for them.
