Rock band Boiling Point have released their latest single “Ready, Set, No” featuring Depoian. The song is taken from their most recent album Hope Lives Here. Check out the lyric video here.
“It may very well be the most important song on this whole record,” suggests band member Eric Bjorklund (vocals, guitar, piano). Inspired by the death of a close friend and with thought-provoking lyrics, this song is sure to be a firm favorite with music fans everywhere. As always, Boiling Point’s passionate vocals, memorable guitar hooks, and unflinching honesty deliver a groundbreaking track.
Boiling Point continues to explore that realness with their album Hope Lives Here. The music comes off the heels of their YouTube-based mini-series by the same name, exploring their mission work in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
The album’s first single and title track “Hope Lives Here” rose to #4 on the CMW Rock Radio Charts and spent 26 weeks on the chart, as well as unexpectedly jumping onto the CMW CHR/AC Charts Top 20. Their follow-up single, “Monuments” has charted for 38 weeks on the CMW Rock Radio Charts while peaking at #2. All told, the first two singles have spent over 64 consecutive weeks on the CMW Rock Chart.
It has been an unprecedented and completely unexpected year for the band. In February 2022, the band took home the Amp Award for Best Alt/Rock Album of the Year at the We Love Christian Music Awards presented by NewReleaseToday. The band had the privilege of performing live in Memphis for the award show. Boiling Point also had the blessing of signing with Broadhead Music Group in the spring of 2021, just before the release of Hope Lives Here. The label has helped propel the band to unprecedented success with its uncompromising focus on artist development.
Outside of the studio, Boiling Point’s dynamic live performances have positioned them in opening slots for industry staples such as Switchfoot, Third Day, Thousand Foot Krutch, Mac Powell, Kari Jobe, Remedy Drive, We Are Vessel, and Red. They’ve taken the stage in front of large audiences at events and venues like SoulFest, Lifest, Lifelight, ConnectFest, Sonshine Festival, PowerLight Festival, Minnesota State, and Schwan’s USA Youth Cup. The band has honed its skills with performances at churches, youth camps, and retreats.
