California-based singer/songwriter Collington recently announced that on May 13, he’ll be releasing a brand new single along with a music video that will be premiering on NewReleaseToday on May 12. The single is the first in a collection of new songs to be released. Two more will drop on July 29 and October 14. To promote the new project, Collington has announced a spring tour and will be performing at various festivals.
Collington enlisted the help of producer and former Sanctus Real member Jake Rye for his next release. The collaboration has yielded a song collection that portrays a newfound intimacy for Collington’s music.
“I was really selective about the songs I chose for this release,” says Collington. “I wanted to pick songs that I would sing to Jesus if no one else was listening. During this time, I learned that the reward is not the song but the relationship.”
