Hi Peace Family! Happy Easter from our Peace 107 family to yours! This year especially there are so many things to be thankful about. We have had such a good time this year with the big Easter egg hunt at the Bush Library and Museum and enjoyed the fun and adventure that provided. Thank you to everyone to who came out and enjoyed the day with us. When you look at the candy in all the stores and all the beautiful pastels colors around it’s hard not to get caught up in the whole Easter Bunny effect of the holiday. But remember, more importantly, what this season represents to us all. And while you enjoy your Easter ham and seeing your family this weekend, also pause and remember the price Jesus paid for each of us. What a profound gift He gave us.
Today is Good Friday and it reminds us all the enormous sacrifice that was made for you and me by Jesus Christ. While many offices are closed today, like ours at Bryan Broadcasting, I hope it will make you reflect on the gift of GRACE in your life. God loved you so much that He allowed His only son to die for your sins on a cross at Calvary. Sometimes it’s hard to wrap our brains around all the realities and facts of that event but I think our hearts and faiths know the price He paid. It is more than we could ever repay. That is why it is called the GIFT of eternal life. There is no way to earn it. All you have to do is accept what Jesus did for you on the cross and accept Him into your heart as your Lord and Savior. At that point you want to live for Him and glorify Him through your actions.
If you haven’t already, be sure and pick up a copy of the Easter edition of our Peace Brazos Christian Life Magazine. You can find copies at all the grocery stores and many other places around the area. We have some great Easter articles for you and tell you about some of the incredible ways God works through people right here in the Brazos Valley!
We thank God for you, and thank you for letting us serve you at Peace 107.
He is Risen!!
