Peace family, today, I want to encourage you to take the time to encourage someone who needs it!
When I heard that Alan Rickman had died this morning of cancer, I was pretty sad, not just by the loss of one of my favorite actors, but also because last year, Brian and I talked about writing him a fan letter, but I never took the time to do it.
It’s a pretty dramatic example, but people we love or appreciate won’t be around forever. Even if it takes a little time, let’s both make sure to take time to encourage the people that we care about. Hug a family member. Call a friend you haven’t talked to in a while. Write a letter to someone you’ve never met, but who inspires you. Take the time to let others know that they matter to you, to share God’s love for them, and to speak hope into their lives. You never know what a difference you might make!
