Peace family, the Girls Just Want to Have Fun 5K is this Saturday! It’s a race exclusively for ladies of all ages and running abilities, to benefit Mercy Project!
We chatted with Dan McClain, who said they’ll take registrants up through midnight Friday the 12th. He says the race is a lot of fun every year, and it is staffed by men wearing tuxedo t-shirts, with a chocolate fountain and glasses of champagne at the finish line. Participants are welcome to wear costumes and prizes will be awarded, and moms and daughters whop run together also receive a discounted price.
