Peace family, there’s a fun opportunity this Saturday to fill your tummy for a great cause!
It’s the 64th annual Kiwanis Pancake Day at the Brazos Center, with pancakes from 8am until 1pm. The proceeds will go to the “Fun For All” playground, coming to Central Park soon and designed for all kids, even with special needs. Glenn Duhon says there will be lots of free, fun activities for kids, and pancakes will be made on the famous griddles that have been used to serve the community since WWI.
Duhon says tickets are $7 adults, $4 child, at the door, or slightly cheaper in advance, and besides all you can eat pancakes, they will also serve sausage, milk, juice, and coffee.
