The theme of “The Lucky 21” Gala is more than just a title; it’s a profound message about the extraordinary individuals in our community. Our members, born with three copies of the 21st chromosome, are the true champions of our society. This unique genetic makeup is celebrated globally on March 21st, the World Down Syndrome Day. The gala aims to increase awareness about the wonderful achievements and contributions of our members and to raise vital funds for the DSABV. These funds are crucial in enabling us to continue our mission of enriching the lives of those in the local Down syndrome community.
2024 is a milestone year for us as the DSABV celebrates 21 years of unwavering dedication and service. This makes “The Lucky 21” not just a gala, but also a celebration of two decades of commitment, love and progress. We invite you to be part of the joyous and meaningful journey.
