Peace family, one of my favorite animals is the flying fish. In an ocean full of predators, it goes beyond natural convention by leaping up out of the water that all fish inhabit and flying to safety for as far as 200 meters (about 656 feet, which is longer than two football fields.)
It takes an immense amount of energy to break through and up from the water, but once the fish are airborne, the sight is spectacularly beautiful.
God made a creature that could do the unusual, even seemingly impossible, and certainly unnatural for a fish, and Peace Family, as Christians, many times the Lord calls us to do things that feel and look impossible to us and everyone around us.
Are there impossible struggles in your life right now? If so, take heart! They are more chances for God to prove himself faithful to you, and to use you for glorious purposes. The solutions might not always look like what we expected or what we wanted, but when we are faithful to God, He will continue to work in our lives, even in ways that we don’t see or expect.
Peace family, nothing is impossible for God (Matthew 19:26.) If you feel like you are trapped in the depths of struggle, keep crying out to God and remember the flying fish. It will only be so long before you learn how to fly.
Anyway, just a few thoughts from your friendly, neighborhood Kat.
