Peace family, have you taken time lately to think about how much God loves you? I know it’s time that I did.
The Bible tells us that Christ’s love surpasses all knowledge and that it’s mind boggling to consider how deep, how wide, how long, and how high God’s love is for us (Ephesians 3:14-19.) It says we can’t be separated from His love, not by anything in heaven or on earth, not by angels or demons, neither death nor life, nor even the things we suffer (see Romans 8:35-39.)
God is patient with us. He forgives us a lifetime of wrongs we’ve done against him. He cancelled our debt through providing Jesus as a sacrifice in our place, and He continually invites us into relationship with him. Isn’t that good news?
If you are feeling vulnerable today, insecure, afraid, ashamed, condemned, or even unforgivable, remember: when you accept Jesus as your savior, you are unconditionally loved by God and He adopts you. You are valuable. He will help you overcome whatever has you down, and God’s opinion of you is more important than anyone else’s opinion.
