Peace family, there’s an opportunity to dine for a good cause at this year’s Healing Faith Uganda Benefit!
Healing Faith is a medical ministry that provides people in Uganda with malaria nets, but also education so that they realize the malaria that makes them sick and kills them is caused by mosquitoes, not bad spirits. I know that Ebola is kind of a hot topic right now, but malaria kills many, many more people than Ebola does. Healing Faith also shares about Christ as they meet the people’s needs in a practical way.
The benefit dinner will be semi-formal with dinner, drinks, a silent auction and live music by Jessica Varley. It’s on Thursday, November 18, at the Brazos Center from 6:30-9:00, and should be a lot of fun! Tickets are $35 a seat. If you’d like to go, rsvp by calling 979-218-6046, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
