In the Marked Down Bin?

I was walking through Lowe’s the other day and decided to check out the marked down bin. You know, where they put all the flowers and plants that are not doing well and price them at a dollar. My heart went out to these plants. They were struggling. I wanted to help. So I bought five or six of them and decided to plant them in a container and put them on the walkway leading up to the front door. That way I could keep an eye on them and water them when needed. Plus add Miracle-Gro.

Well, I had no idea how well they would come back. They are thriving now! I had to take a picture and share with you, Peace Family. Every time I see these I smile and think about how God does the same thing with us.

Have you ever felt like life has thrown you into the bargain bin? The ups and downs and trials can be exhausting and sometimes you feel beat down and defeated. The world does that to ALL of us from time to time. That’s when God’s restorative power can heal you and give you your strength back. He can make you bloom again in an even more beautiful way.

So today, I want to encourage you to keep fighting the good fight of faith, even if you feel your value has been marked down by the trials you’ve endured. You are an example of God’s enduring love and restoration. Just like one dollar flowers from Lowe’s. You are beautiful and will bloom again!
