Recently on social media, Building 429‘s guitarist Jesse Garcia announced that he’ll be moving on from the band. Lead singer Jason Roy said in a live stream that he “thinks [Jesse] is ready for the next chapter in his life.”
“After much prayer and counsel, the time has now come for me to get off the road and step away from Building 429,” Jesse posted on Instagram. “This decision isn’t taken lightly. The past couple of years have brought significant challenges. However, I feel God is once again calling me to step out in faith.”
“I’m so grateful for Jesse Garcia,” Jason Roy shared. “Jesse has been my hero since I met him as a teenager in Texas. He’s one of the greatest guitar players I’ve ever met in my life.”
