Moms, doesn’t it frustrate you when someone says, “You’re JUST a Mom?” With Mother’s Day in mind, here is a great answer:
Yes, I am a Mother. That makes me an alarm clock, cook, maid, waitress, teacher, nurse, referee, handyman, security officer, photographer, counselor, chauffeur, event planner, hairdresser, personal assistant, ATM and I scare away the Boogie man. I don’t get paid holidays, sick pay or days off. I am on call 24/7 for the rest of my life. That’s JUST being a Mom!
We celebrate you, Mothers, for all that you are and all that you do that goes unnoticed. You are the rock and cornerstone of every family. Happy Mother’s Day!
