Peace family, let me introduce you to my newest little friend, Bruce the Spruce! Just before Thanksgiving, I planted several tiny Christmas tree seeds, and I have found so much enjoyment in watching this little guy pop up out of the ground and reach for the sun!
We can always use a cheerful pick-me-up, especially when the weather gets dreary or chilly, so I just wanted to encourage you that even when things in your life feel cold and stagnant, God is still moving, creating, and transforming. Even if all you see is cold, wet, dirt, there is life that is coming!
Throughout the Bible, God is always doing the unexpected. He uses people with weaknesses to accomplish his goals, he brings children to barren wombs, and he helps warriors win against impossible odds. God’s character hasn’t changed, and he is still doing miraculous things today. If you are aching for a miracle in your life, even if it’s hard, take some time to think back to the ways that God has shown his faithfulness and provision in your life before. Even though it’s sometimes difficult to see life in winter, it’s there all the same.
