Spend another fun and exciting summer at the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum The Presidential Library and Museum is proud to host the College Station Noon Lions Club’s “I Love
America” Fourth of July Celebration, July 4, 2016 at the George Bush Presidential Library Center at Texas A&M University. The museum will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with free admission for everyone all day; building closes at 8:15 p.m. Concessions start at 5:30 p.m. and include roasted corn, Slovacek’s sausage on a stick, beverages by Coca Cola and FREE watermelon while supplies last. Live entertainment and the Kids Zone open at 6:00 p.m. The Kids Zone includes games and bounce houses for children and will close at 8:30 p.m. The evening will culminate with a spectacular fireworks display and concert by the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra. Come early and bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets. Please, no pets or glass containers.
We are also excited to announce the opening of our newest exhibit called, “Driven to Drive: Defining our Identity.” This exhibit is open from May 16, 2016 to January 8, 2017. In partnership with the Houston Automobile & Transportation Museum, this exhibit tells the story of the automobile through historical objects, interactive media and hands-on displays, highlighting cars beginning with the 1950s through the present and into the future. Automobiles on display will include a 1915 Model T Ford, 1955 Corvette, 1965 Mustang, 1966 GTO, Terrafuggia flying car, and many more. Join us at the George Bush Library and Museum beginning July 11 to August 12 to be a part of our full day exploring history summer camp, Transportation: Riding, Driving and Flying into the Future! This year, we will focus on all modes of transportation on land, water and at sea. Weekly camp sessions will be filled with Museum exploration, outside activities, crafts,
art class, games and a field trip! The camp will educate children about the history of transportation in a creative and hands-on setting that will be sure to engage children
ages 7 to 11! The cost per week is $150 per week or $30 per day and runs 9am to 4pm Monday-Friday. For more information, or to register your child, please contact

will include the following movies: Cars on May 20, The Game Plan on June 17, Herbie Fully Loaded on August 19 and Turbo on September 17. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs as
we enjoy four fun films under the stars. Free refreshments and games will begin at 7 p.m., and the movies will start just after sundown.
