Recently on social media, Christian rap/gospel artist and evangelist Maddie Rey announced that she released her new book titled Culture Cleanse: Cleansing Ourselves of the Culture that We’ve Become So Well Adjusted to by Getting Back to the Word of God on June 30.
“I believe this message of Culture Cleanse is a word for the body of Christ today! This book reflects on Romans 12:2 (MSG), ‘Do not become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking…,'” Maddie shared on Instagram. “The reality is that we have become well-adjusted and comfortable with the culture and the things of this world. It is time for a people and a generation to be cleansed so that we no longer live according to the world, but we live according to the WORD!”
The new book, Culture Cleanse, marks Maddie’s 5th full-length book release. Alongside the release, Maddie released her latest hip-hop-infused single, “Anti-Culture” on July 8 to correspond with the book’s release. The single is available now on all platforms.
