Sometimes when you hear of a tragedy the first thing you think of is to pray for those involved. That is the most powerful thing we can do, Peace Family. There is power in prayer. The loss of life and those injured in this recent terror attack is terrible. But I encourage you to find a positive, life affirming reaction to all this. The first thing we can do is pray for those families that have lost a loved one, pray for those wounded and fighting to recover in the hospitals, and pray for the first responders that so bravely went straight to the scene and worked to save lives.
Here is a quote that I was reminded of when I first heard of the attack:
This world needs you, Peace Family. Shine your light and let Jesus reach out to others through you. There are many issues at play here and everyone seems to have an opinion on what and why it happened. Rather than getting into debates with people, I encourage you to keep it simple. This is a fallen world that needs Jesus. Evil things happen. But love wins in the end. And light can drive out darkness and love can drive out hate. Let your life be an example of God’s light and love in this dark world.
