Peace family, Mercy Project is hosting a dessert party that will break a Guinness World Record!
Not only will more than 1,000 people come together to enjoy dessert at the “Sweet Taste of Freedom” party, but it also will support Mercy Project, which works to free child slaves in Ghana.
Chris Field says it starts at 3pm on Saturday, April 9, on the northeast, grassy are between Reed Arena and the parking garage, and anyone is welcome who is Kids old enough to take a bite of dessert and participate. It’s free, but preregistration is required.
Field says Global Event Group’s 33rd Street Bakery will provide cakes, cupcakes, brownies, lemon bars, pies, cookies, and more. For more details, go to www.sweettasteoffreedom.com
