Peace family, you will probably never forget where you were thirteen years ago, when you heard that the World Trade Center and Pentagon had been attacked by terrorists. Where were you? How did you feel?
Do you know who else will never forget where he was, or how you felt? God.
Take comfort in the fact that He was there, with every suffering and confused person, and despite the seeming victory of evil, He was still sovereign. He was still in control. He was not surprised, shocked, overwhelmed, or powerless.
Likewise, in our own present times of trouble, as we face circumstances of utmost pain and the seeming victory of evil, He is still sovereign. He is still in control. He is not surprised, shocked, overwhelmed, or powerless.
Peace family, let’s take today to remember and pray for those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. However, beloved, take heart: He has overcome the world, and in the end, Christ will have all the victory.
