It is the 20-year anniversary of Sara Groves’ Add To The Beauty album! To celebrate, Sara is issuing it on a limited-edition vinyl for the first time + remastering the audio for a CD and digital download re-issue. This is a double LP color vinyl with the complete Add To The Beauty album featuring three new songs! “Take It All In,” “Remembering You” and “What We Know” will be included onto the Add To The Beauty CD, double vinyl, and digital download. 20 years ago this fall, I headed to Nashville to start pre-production for a new album! Making Add To The Beauty was a precious journey – in many ways I found my voice, and so many of the things that we experienced then are still shaping us now (we were learning about IJM, we were dreaming of starting Art House North, and we were planting our flag in the belief that beauty matters)! Add To The Beauty was named Album of the Year by CCM Magazine, and it is still large in our hearts.
Many of you have reached out over the years to let me know that you connected with “When It Was Over,” “You Are The Sun,” “Loving a Person,” and “Why It Matters,” and more. I am proud to bring new life to these songs, and three new songs on a limited-edition double color vinyl and CD remaster, and am grateful for your help to make this happen!
In addition to the vinyl, remastered CD, there are other fun rewards and experiences like T-Shirts, Prints, autographed handwritten lyrics sheets, personal zoom calls and an opportunity to be thanked in the vinyl and CD packaging and even being the Executive Producer for this limited-edition reissue. All proceeds for this Kickstarter and for the concert will go to the work of Art House North which is how my music gets made!
