TrueSong, the resident artist band at the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum released their new single “All Things” today (Sept 6) HERE. With genuine hearts for God, TrueSong makes uplifting music that proclaims truth to people of all ages.
Micahel Howard of TrueSong shares the heart behind their new song saying, “A verse that has spoken to me for my entire life is Romans 8:28. The idea that all things work together for the Christian is comforting and encouraging. Facing several trials in my life during a short period of time caused the truth of this verse to become much closer than ever before. Soon after closing a family owned business, I was in an automobile accident in which I suffered a severely broken foot. I had recently been hired as the worship director at my church, had a new baby, and the pressure of life was almost more than I could bear. Laying in a hospital bed and facing extensive surgery and the inability to walk, I couldn’t help but remember the comforting words of Romans 8:28. All of the good things, the bad things, mistakes, failures, accomplishments, laughs, tears and all other “things” in life work together. It was with this in mind, that the idea for a song was born. We took this idea to a writing session with several writers and the result was an impactful song to which everyone can relate. It begins with a redemptive theme but quickly arrives at the core message of the verse, Romans 8:28. It’s great to have the reassurance that all things can be used as part of the plan that God has for us.“
“All Things” follows the release of their song “He Is Jesus.”
