Peace family, today, I just want to remind you that your value is not based on your performance. Let me say that again; your value is not based on your performance. Yes, meeting goals and being dependable are important, but your value does not change.
Even if there are people in your life who seem to only love you according to what you accomplish, and who withhold love from you when you fail or don’t meet their expectations, God’s love for you does not change. There is nothing you can do to lose or earn His love, or to make Him love you any more, because He already loves you as much as He always will.
God is slow to anger and abounding in love. He knows that we are squirrely (“dust” as the Bible says). If you are feeling like it is all up to you, remember that God loves you so much, that even while we all were sinners, He died for us. He also rose again, and if He could conquer death, He can certainly conquer whatever mountains are in your life.
My prayer today for you is that you would have a deeper revelation of the deep, deep love He has for you, and that He is merciful. Anyway, just a few thoughts from your friendly neighborhood Kat.
