Warm and Cozy

Peace family, this is my hope for you today: that you might find yourselves warm and cozy, and enveloped in the love of God!

Whether you are merely facing the chilly, wet weather today, or you are facing cold hearts and cold attitudes, I want to encourage you to take time to fill yourself up with thoughts and truths about the goodness of God and your safe place as his beloved child.

Have you taken a second lately to remember the good things that God has done for you this week? This year? Throughout your life?

How about remembering that today is temporary, but that the love that God has for you is eternal? God loved you so much, that while you still did not know him and you couldn’t possibly earn his love, he died and rose again for you! That’s a lot deeper than we usually take time to think about.

If you haven’t had time to read the Bible lately, would you read a little bit today? You don’t have to read a whole lot to find something that might uplift your outlook towards the whole day.

Finally, If you haven’t spent time with a fellow believer lately, I would encourage you to do that, too. Reach out to someone and let them know that you need some encouragement! You never know, but they might need the encouragement, too!

Peace family, I am praying for you today, that God will bless you, and that you will be able to stay warm with a fresh understanding of the deep, deep, big hug love that God has for you!
